Ahndeleck is a bronze colored dragon that is about the same size as a small lion. His face is covered in flexible quill like scales or spines, that stand up or lay flat depending on his mood. These quills run the length of his neck, back, and half way down his tail. His bronze colored scales are lightly mottled to the darker side, while the underside of his neck, chest, belly, inner thighs, and underside of his wings all have a sandy yellow colored tone. Starting between his blue eyes and following his spine, there are a set of larger quill like scales that are white in color with black tips, which also raise or lower with his mood. The following sections have greater details on his description.
Height to shoulder: 0.75 meters
Body Length: 1.75 meters
Nose to tail length: 8 meters
Wingspan: 8.5 meters
Ahndeleck has a thin long build, similar to a cat’s build. His wings membranes extend down his sides to and attach just after his hips. Running the length of his spine, are long white spines. These spines are stiff while being semi flexible and are not sharp. Around these spines are smaller dark brown spines, similarly stiff, semi-flexible, and not sharp. These dark brown spines can also be found extending over his wing shoulders, and on the back, side of his foreleg shoulders, and at the elbow of his front legs. The white spines will stand or lay back depending on mood, the darker brown spines will as well to a lesser degree.
Across most of Ahndeleck’s body is a bronzy brown color. His neck, chest, inner forelegs, and inner back legs have a sandy yellow coloration. His hide is made up of small pebbly scales with a small amount of overlap. This would make brushing from his head to tail feel smooth, but brushing from his tail to his head feel rough.
Ahndeleck’s eyes are blue with cat like irises, small patch of the yellow small and fine scales around the eyes. The nose, face and top of the head are the bronzy-brown color as well. Chin, jaw, and cheeks are the lighter yellow color. Starting at his chin, and running the entire length of his jaw are the dark brown spines, their length increasing from the chin towards the back of his jaw, the longest of which at the back of the cheeks. These spines are highly responding to his mood.
Starting at his nose is another set of smaller dark brown spines, these follow the top of his jaw to between his eyes were the white spines begin. The first white spine is bent forward and slightly to the right. Also starting between his eyes the larger cluster of dark brown spines begin and cover the top of his head and run down his neck. All of these spines are highly responding to his mood as well. There are a small cluster of dark brown spines at the back of his eyes just after the yellow patches.
His teeth are an ivory color, with long canines. As Ahndeleck’s diet was predominately carnivore, the molars are of a more sharp design. Visible flesh is a pink color, this would include the flesh of the mouth, the tongue, flesh around the eyes, and nostrils.
Ahndeleck’s front claws have five digits, one of which is an opposable thumb. These digits are shorter than human fingers though and have a tougher thicker set of scales forming pads on the palm and the tips of the fingers. This meant while able to grasp and manipulate objects, they were not as dexterous as a human hand. The claws on each digit is long and quite durable, with an light ivory sort of finish. The thumb’s claw is slightly shorter.
Ahndeleck’s back claws also had five digits, one of which was a sort of dew-claw configuration. These claws were able to grasp, though the digits were shorter than the front claws. Additionally there were thick scale pads on the tips of the fingers and on the palm of the claw as well. The claws on each digit is long and quite durable, with an light ivory sort of finish. The dew-claw’s claw is shorter.
Wingspan: 8.5 meters
Ahndeleck’s wings are attached at the shoulder and the membrane is connected to his back all the way to just past the hips. Each wing has 4 long fingers and at the palm is a thumb. Each digit has a long claw that is durable and has an ivory finish. The membranes of his wings are thick and scaled. On the top side of the wing is the darker bronze color, and the underside of the wing is the sandy yellow like on his chest. Each finger, on both the top and bottom side of the wing, have the darker bronze color. The wing’s shoulders also have the dark brown spines as well.
Nose to tail length: 8 meters
Tail length: about 5 meters
Ahndeleck has a long, powerful, tail. Coloration of the tail is mostly the dark bronze color, though the underside of the tail is the sandy-yellow color. The spines run half way down the tail and end in a cluster. The white spines end before this cluster of spines. The spines at the cluster are sharp and very rigid. These spines were used for both defense and hunting purposes. The last half of the tail has no other spines or other markings.

All of these color codes are for the generic color, and small variations can occur. Scales and spines will have individual variations, that from a distance is not obvious, but upon close inspection become clear. Scales are similar to an iguana scale pattern over most of the body, small overlapping scales that are mostly indistinguishable except at close inspection. Spines are a large single scale that are generally flexible, but along the spine these scales have a color transition to a white color.
